RECENT HAPPENINGSI've moved (again)!
I'm SO excited to announce that in January 2023, I started as an Assistant Professor of Marine Science at Savannah State University. I am continuing to work on jellies (and zooplankton more broadly), and will be answering ecological questions through combinations of methods, such as in situ imaging, lab experiments, and field sampling. I'm excited to start this new chapter and will update with current projects and what we're up to in the new lab! New publication
Research from my postdoc is now published in Estuarine, Coastal, and Shelf Science! This paper shows the location and habitat preference of gelatinous zooplankton quantified via in situ imaging in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. Fine-scale habitat associations of medusae and ctenophores along a gradient of river influence and dissolved oxygen LM Treible, LM Chiaverano, and AT Greer (2022) New Publications
I worked with some awesome collaborators to coauthor two papers that went into print in 2021! From spatial pattern to ecological process through imaging zooplankton interactions AT Greer, LM Chiaverano, LM Treible, C Briseño-Avena, FJ Hernandez (2021) ICES Journal of Marine Science Submarine groundwater discharge as a potential driver of eastern oyster, Crassostrea virginica, populations in Georgia JM Carroll, JL Kelly, LM Treible, T Bliss (2021) Marine Environmental Research Congrats Lauren!
ICPS REU student Lauren Johnson was selected to present her research at the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Research Experiences for Undergraduates Symposium this October. Huge congrats to Lauren!
